Hello,

I'd like to apply for a Master Program and I'd like to get my diplomas (bachelor degrees) and transcripts accredited by an agency here in the US (and get the equivalence of the GPA as well). I do have the translation of the documents. However some agencies ask that the transcripts to be sent by the educational institution overseas, a thing that is almost "impossible" from Moroccan universities... so my option is: I send myself the original documents or certified copies to them!!

Does anybody recommend any agency and others to avoid. Answers from people with Moroccan degrees will be a plus.

I don't think they will accept any diploma from morocco.
You have to start from new here if want to continue your school .

I would start with the school that you're interested in and see some of the lists that they have. Also the admissions officer could give you advice about your degrees and what qualifies or not, but they have a lot of options in terms of companies that do it and some do take your translations. I had to ask all this to be prepared for my hubby when he comes. He went to school as well and got his diploma's translated, next step is getting it evaluated.

Try ECE.org. My husband is from Egypt and has a bachelors in accounting. He sent his original degree and transcripts in both English and Arabic and $175 fee. We thought it would help us know what classes he would need to obtain a bachelors equivalent in the US, we were happily surprised to find out that course by course his Egyptian degree matched the USA requirements and has a certificate stating this. He plans to apply for his masters in January. Good luck!!

Thanks Laura. I've heard about ECE (but some members here in Visajourney got negative experience with them). Anyway, I'll call them and discuss with them my situation and hopefully i can use their service.

First talk to the school you plan on attending. I know the school I'm going to has a service that they use. I wouldn't waste your time or money on something that isn't going to work for you.

The admissions department should be able to help you with all of that!
