Ok, Just when I think that we figure out how to get Ahmeds police record. He drops a mini bombshell on me. He was there illegal for a while. Will this effect what is on his police record? Also, how will this effect his visa process to come here to the US?

P.S. He did manage to get his visa in France after not having it and was able to travel back to Egypt. Where he has been for the last three years.

Can anyone help me?

Hey Holly....the other thread you posted looks like it had some very helpful information.

The person even provided the form to send to France to get the police records. Hope it helps.

Sorry Holly...I just reread the post. I didn't see the illegal part. I really don't know anything about that. Worse he can do, is try to get it and see what France says. Sorry, I just don't have experience in that. Best of luck!

As long as he was never arrested or had any run-ins with the police, his record should be clear, and his illegal status shouldn't affect the police report. Others here have had the same issue (illegal overstay in EU country), and things have worked out. Hope it works out for you!

if he finally managed to stay in France legally then it should be fine. He can asked for his french police records online

If you leave in France you get it within 4 days.

Can we send it online or do we have to mail it?
