My husband is going to Morocco for the first time since he has came here to the US. He has his Green Card. We have a son together, he is taking him with him to Morocco. Will there be any issues I need to be aware of. Do we need to register our child with Morocco. As of right now, there is not plans of having our son have Moroccan Citizenship. Is there anyone that has experienced troubles in there country when they brought their children??????????

Does your son have a Moroccan passport?
If he has only a US passport, he might need a visa to get into the country depending on their visa requirement for US citizens.

Our main concern is at the airport. To enter into Morocco, US Citizen, only need their passport.

I belive you will need a notirzed letter saying you give him premissiom to take him .I no when My kids use
to travel to there dad country with him while we were married .I would have to give him 1 I awlays gave him more then 1 in case he lost it or they decided to keep it at the airport .

I've traveled twice to Morocco with my son, by myself and have never been asked for a letter from my husband. Our son has a U.S. passport as well. Mind you, he has a Muslim name, but again, have NEVER been asked for anything other than his passport.

Some friends mirrored allousa's experience: the father had a conditional GC and took the 1-year-old baby to Morocco on a U.S. passport (both parents had to sign for him to get that). The dad had no trouble whatsoever, but I think he traveled with a notarized letter from his wife just in case anyone asked for it. I don't think anyone ever did.

My husband has traveled with our son to Morocco several times and has never been asked for anything. I always send a letter giving my permission in English, Arabic and French just in case. Now when he came back this last time he came with a family friend who is his babysitter here in the States. The State Dept told me that I only needed to send a letter giving her permission to take him into the country however they were detained for like 3 hours (with her 4 other kids) the officer finally let them through because he could see that my son knew her well, was playing with the kids, not crying etc. So send a notorized letter just in case. The problems would be here when re-entering the US not in Morocco.

Absolutely correct! I had to DSL the document for my husband to notarize giving his approval of the issuance of the U.S. Passport and then he had to send the original back. A passport cannot be issued without both parent's consent.
