can someone tell me what the wait looks like at the Mumbai embassy for interview if not does anyone know how to find out what the wait maybe? Thanks.

After NOA2 it took about 2+ months to get our interview scheduled.

so your going through Mumbai? what are some of the papers and things required by Mumbai for interview? for the Medical do you have to go to Mumbai or can you go some place closer to home. My Fiancee is located in Aizawl, Mizoram and well thats pretty far...thanks for your info and let me know how the interview go's.

First of all Congrats for a case completion at NVC. Within few days, NVC will transfer your case to Bombay Embasy and update your status on NVC automated message.

Embassy will send packet 3 when they receive your case. Be sure to return it promptly.

Once you send Packet 3 back to Embassy, you can call Department of State at 1-202-663-1225 to find out if there is an interview scheduled for you.

According to the embassy information, the packet 3 contains DS230 Part I and a checklist which needs to be returned. My spouse has already sent in a DS-230 to NVC -- will she have to submit another one (seems questionable). Had you also submitted a DS230 to NVC (and then again to the consulate).
