Is this file copyrighted? Do you own the copyright? Most music when you buy it gives you permission for personal use only. That said if it is that type then no you can not.

Recognizing that there have been problems with the site bogging down, would attaching large files to posts exacerbate the problem?
And if so, is the purpose more valuable than the ability of posters to access and use the site with reasonable speed?

I'd say 'why on earth would you WANT to post music?' If you really want to share something, mention it in a post and people can PM you their email address if you really want to share it with them... but music files are just too large, not to mention mostly copyrighted.
