I put the post in the wrong section, how long does it normally take for the ISL embassy to review the documents?

It depends on what it is, or if it is newly submitted information. Our file was placed in AP for document verification. The file was sent from Montreal to ISL. The whole process took 7 months, one month for original transfer and 6 months for the actual verification of authenticity.

But that is for the embassy of Canada isn't it? not the US Embassy?
