This is message i got:
On July 18, 2006, we transferred your I130 IMMIGRANT PETITION FOR RELATIVE, FIANCE(E), OR ORPHAN to an office in CALIFORNIA SERVICE CENTER for processing. That office has jurisdiction over the case. They will send you a written decision as soon as processing is complete. You should receive a notice informing you that your case has been transferred to a local office.
I live in Virginia so Vermont has jurisdiction over my case, why did they transfer it to California? Any opinion???????
If you do not know all I-130's are being sent to CA now. My sentor's office let me know this last Friday when I came in for them to check my paper work. So you must send your I-130's to CA. They are changing the system. In the new system they are working out were you may soon be able to send the I-130 and I129F togther. The K3's and K-1's go to Missiouri. Right now K-3's are ahead by 2 months but there is a back up starting with K-1's and K-3's due to the Marriage Broker paper work they have 20,000 to process. The Cr-1's make go through faster. I was told to post this. I know that some may not trust their sentors office but they seemed to know what they were doing when I went. I hope this maybe helpful.
One Luv,
Jax
