Peeps, Im really upset right now About an hour ago I text msgd my girlfriend back in Virginia to see how she was doing. Her boyfriend Asad wrote me back and said pray for her bcz her brain surgery didnt go well. I had no idea! what the heck!? So, I called him and he was in tears telling me that she had been having headaches and the doctors thought it was a cyst or tumor and went in today to remove it and she started bleeding too much so they couldnt finish it. Shes in ICU. Im in pieces. I love Jennifer as a sister. Im heartbroken right now, and im shock and im praying that she makes it thru this. I always seem to loose the ones I love the most. I need her to make it thru this! !

I just called the hospital in Virginia (Georgetown) they confirmed she is there, but would not tell me how she is doing

i am so sorry to hear this....our thoughts and prayers are with you....i was born and raised in MD and the drs in the Baltimore/DC area are some of the best drs in the country and i know they will do all they can...i know it might not be much comfort right now but don't lose faith.....

Tamara hope everything is ok!!

I got a message from Asad and he said that it was thought to be a tumor but found out it was a cyst on her brain. Her dad and he are at the hospital with her. Her dad is staying til Monday. Asad is hoping she gets out Tuesday. Shes doing better today. Im nearly about to jump on a plane and go to her if at all possible. She is my dear friend that took care of me when I had my blood clot back in 2006. The night she took me to the hospital when I had my blood clot, she got a phone call saying her mother had cancer. She drove me around when I couldnt drive bcz of the blood clot, she took me to eat when I couldnt cook, she took care of me and stayed with me. She encouraged me SO much thru the crazy visa process while waiting for Adam. I love this friend just like a sister and I need her to be ok and get well.

I talked to Asad this morning, he said they took the tube out of her and shes awake. This afternoon he said shes doing even better and shes talking. Im so happy!

My friend Jennifer is still in the hospital nearly 3 weeks later. She had to have another surgery today to clean out the infection from the wound. Her bf is thinking either this weekend or next Monday hopefully she will be able to go home. I sure hope so! Please keep praying for her! -Tamara
