I have no idea where a notary public is anywhere near by me to get it notarized.
So I was just wondering if one was needed this time, or if I still have time to find one
when I need to fill out the I-134 affidavit.

No, from what I've read, you just answer it, sign it and it's good to go.
You can find public notaries in the yellow pages. You'll need to notarize the I134.

Most banks offer notary services at no charge or a minimal charge to their customers. You don't need it for the RFE but you do need it for the I-134.
