Hello,

NVC sent me DS 230 packet to me in Pakistan and told me that you will get in 2 to 4 weeks, but after 6 weeks i did not receive packet. I again email NVC that i did not receive the letter they replied that a duplicate letter will be sent and you will receive in 10 to 15 working days. Can any one please tell me if i did not receive again the letter in 1 month can i tell them to send the letter to my spouse address in US ??? Please advise me.

All other letters i receive in time, e.g visa processing fees etc.

most likely its the fault of the post office in whichever city you are at in Pakistan...thats why most of us had NVC send to us here in US instead of Pakistan.....

about your question though...since you had already chose you as the agent it might be difficult but it would never hurt to ask NVC to send it to the address in USA.

You can request NVC for duplicate. They will issue another copy of DS230.

Are you familiar with the shortcuts, pinned at the top of this forum? Many have used them successfully, and you might want to investigate them as an option.

yeah you only need to fill out part I until your packet 3.5 which needs both part I and part II filled out but part II not signed. You will need to sign the Part II at your interview in front of the CO.

The first packet you will receive from Islamabad embassy after your case is forwarded from NVC is packet 3.5. It asks for alot of documents to be send back to the embassy before they send you packet 4 which has the interview date....

Sorry for more questions just like a kid but just wondering what kind of papers embassy needs as i think i need to prepare birth certificate, marriage certificate, police certificate or some marriage pictures. Am i right or anything else i can expect so i can prepare in advance ?
