I'm not sure if the touches after the CSC recieves the IMBRA RFE are a good sign or simply part of their procedure for this process because everyone seems to be getting touched immediately afterwards. Whenever the CSC gets the ball rolling on approving petitions, which I am hoping is soon, I foresee us all potentially being bottleneck or protracted interview dates at the US Embassy in Manila due to the influx of approvals coming down the pike. For those who don’t know, the US Embassy in Manila is the second busiest… second only to Mexico. Just a thought... Any comments?

Excellent point, I have noticed the same trend. RFE gets back, then a few touches (usually 2 to 3) then nothing. I also think that once things start moving (someday) that there is going to be another bottleneck at some embassies. I really hope I am proved wrong but knowing USCIS if it is possible and if it can go wrong it will!!!!!!

At least you all have been touched since the CSC received your RFE. The USPS sent me a confirmation that the CSC received my RFE on July 9th. I have not received a single touch nor confirmation email from the SCS indicating that they have "officially" received my RfE. Called USCIS last Friday, waited on hold for 30 minutes just to have the staff member on the phone read me the same email I received on July 5th! He had no new information for me. I am beginning to get worried.... ClockWatch2.gif

Don't sweat it, it took several days for them to update our case after the RFE arrived.

Finally! Opened up my email this morning and voila!! The CSC has acknowledged receipt of my RFE response!! Now I am hoping that all we have to do is......"Follow the Yellow Brick Road.....follow the Yellow Brick Road....follow the....follow the....follow the....follow the Yellow Brick Road!" Yes, can you tell I am happy? Isn't it funny how a little thing like a "touch" can improve one's attitude for the day?? kicking.gif cool.gif

Now, let's see what happens next....whenever "next" will be.....
