Hello. I have been searching for answers to my question but couldnt find one so here goes. I paid my IV bill before the fee bill for it was generated. It is showing up as IN PROCESS, but when I called NVC they said that it is showing up as NOT PAID. What should I do to fix it or will it fix itself in a few days?

Here is the link that has your answers. It is important to follow the instructions of the NVC. The NVC site says; "It is important to follow the NVC’s instructions carefully. Sending the NVC documentation (or paying fees) when they were not requested by the NVC will result in a delay in processing."

Hopefully you will not experience a delay. I will tell you that it shows IN Process for a few days after you pay it. The website says that it takes 2 to 3 business days and this is what I experienceds.

Good luck

Hey Nancy, it's all good. As you know I did the same thing. I hope it all works itself out, but send that info to them asap. It'll be fine, girly....just breathe yes.gif

Well I wanted to provide the answer to my own question so that it might help others. The system ended up fixing itself and 4 days after I made the payment it showed up on the invoice and receipt page as PAID. So if anyone mistakingly pays there IV fee bill early do not worry because the problem will fix itself.

Do not worry at all. In about 2 to 3 business days max you will find that your payment says paid and there will be no problems at all.

Hey guys. How did you pay the IV fee bill before the Invoice was generated. It will not let me. I have paid the AOS bill, and it is now reflecting paid. But it will not let me check the box to pay the IV fee bill. Am I missing something? Thanks.
NancylovesAhmad
No you are not missing anything. It took a few days before it showed up for me. has your I-864 been accepted yet? If it has then I would keep on logging in everyday and eventually you will find that you can check the box for the IV bill. Hope this helps!!!
