The NVC sent me a letter stating my I129f was approved and recieved by them and will be sent out within a week. Will they also send me a letter when they forward it to the embassy?

and how will I now it has arrived there?

Thx

Hey.
Before having my case recalled, everything was smooth with NVC.
They sent it to the Consulate 7 days after they received. I got that information by phone.

I also called the Consulate and they got it 7 days later.

You can keep calling them or wait for a letter in the mail.
If you do call NVC, make sure you get your case number. Thatīs how youll track your case at the Consulate.
Donīt worry, though. Hard part is over.

Well that is great news Gomez, hope it keeps going quickly for you.

No the NVC sent me a letter saying they received my petition. That letter looks like what I will get next. That letter appears to be from the NVC saying it has been forwaded to the consulate

In the timeline I think that is the NVC LEFT letter

As far as I know know, the things are moving very quickly in NVC for K1 visas and they are not issuing the case numbers anymore or putting us in the database, they just go through it and send it on its way.

I called both CIS and NVC.
CIS told me that it is sent right to the post (embasy) and that is it...
NVC say it does go to the post and to them.
Post can start processing but will not schedule the interview until the 'administrative processing' is completed at the NVC.
So I will keep callining the 603.334.0700 to check if received.
The number I called for the NVC for a visa specialist was 202.663.1225

Hope this helps

My NOA 2 was Mar 31, letter from NVC April 13 - stating NVC had approved I-129f petition and would forward to visa issuing post within a week, and assigning case number with barcode. File arrived at Paris embassy about a week later I assume, and fiance received instruction packet (pkt 3) April 24, returned to embassy May 5. Petition recalled, and the waiting started. Still waiting for reaffirmation, back to NVC< back to embassy, etc. etc.

To answer Gomez's question, I only got one letter from NVC. The one you received sounds very similar. Different embassies have different methods of acknowledging receipt of cases. I never heard anything from the embassy in Paris, they just sent the instruction pkt to my fiance, which he received aobut 2 wekks after the NVC sent me the letter. That embassy is just about impossible to contact unless you happen to be in apris and can show up on a Friday afternoon hoping to get in to talk to someone.

I got this letter too (yay!) Since it says it was "recently received" by NVC and will be sent to consulate "within a week", how do I fill out my timeline? The letter was received sometime before 7/17 and will be sent I guess sometime before 7/24. So what is received at NVC and left NVC?
