Basically is law enacted earlier this year regarding international marriage brokers, restrictions on multiple K-1 petitions and disclosure of criminal activity on the part of USC to foriegn national fiancees.

Basically the reason so many of us are still waiting on the approvals. If you put a timeline we may be able to explain a little more, but it has been a nightmare in the fact it has delayed many of us.

IMBRA is very poorly written, confusing and vague and that is why it has been a nightmare to implement. As result, the whole visa process has come to a halt. Currently, there are two ongoing lawsuits to overturn IMBRA but the Tahirih Justice Center (TJC) is fighting like a crazed animal to prevent its demise. Since TJC helped to write this confusing law, I believe the least it can do is to offer its help to resolve this visa fiasco.
