I have heard rumblings that some of us have received an email stating that a SECOND RFE was mailed to them following USCIS receipt of the 1st RFE. Has anyone received a 2nd RFE? What is the nature of the 2nd RFE?

I heard that some that said yes to the IMB question got a second RFE. Haven't heard what it's about yet.

It could be that those people recieving another RFE actually had something missing/something more required for their petitions. So this could just be the "normal" kind of RFE and now that their case is IMBRA compliant, the adjudicators are sending out RFEs (if necessary) for other information as usual.

I received a second IMBRA RFE, which is worded exactly the same as the original RFE I received. However, there is a difference between the 2 separate RFEs; and, that is that they were mailed to 2 different addresses. The first one was mailed to my old address, and the second one was mailed to my current address. It seems that the first RFE was delivered to me about the same time that my address change took affect. I completed and sent the first RFE back to them, and I am doing the same with the second one.

i got another RFE In the mail regarding imbra.. this is the same as the firsrt one.

I'm not sure what the 2nd RFE is about either..but I only received and replied to the 1st one.

Just found out we have another RFE on the way. We answered "no" to the IMB question, and no to everything else regarding criminal history. I am really pissed that this could be a regular RFE NOW, since we could have taken care of it in the last 6 weeks that everything stopped moving.


And why are people ( ie hafiz) or us getting the same one twice??? oh man, what a waste of time.....

I just got another RFE as well that's identical as the first one. This RFE that I received in the mail today has the date that my other was received at the Missouri office. I am going to complete this one with the same info and send it in. Has anyone called to see why we are getting two RFE's? My answer was "NO" to the first question - so that can't be it.

I have also read of people receiving two IMBRA RFEs on another immigration website. I really think you can chalk this up to incompetence on the part of USCIS. Be safe - fill it out and send it back AGAIN.
