I am trying to find a cheap plane ticket from Istanbul to Seattle through JFK. Where can i find it? Our time is getting closer and i am worried about it.

My wife lives in Istanbul. Have you tried using the online services, like Expedia, or Orbitz? I find them to be as cheap...or cheaper than using a travel agent. At least, that`s been my experience so far. Also convenient.

Have you tried going through Chicago? There are several flights that go direct from O'Hare to Istanbul. Istanbul is one of the ways I go to Odessa, Ukraine. Phoenix - O'Hare - Istanbul - Odessa.

i like flying with them much better than with delta...but sometimes there is no choice.

Thank you Michele but I already looked at them. I will be going on 20th of August just after the interview. Should I buy one way or round trip because i dont want to spend a lot of money. My time is getting shorter. And i am confused.

The cheapest I found was with czech airline, stop over in prague and JFK before going on to seattle,$549.. $720 after taxes, leaving on september 6...that rate might be available on other days too, but by 200 cheaper than turkish airlines....i found this rate on orbitz.com. TIP....fares leaving tues wed or thursday usually are lower.

I finally found a cheap ticket. It was not easy but I did it. I will be leaving on 21th of August with my fiance. I can't wait. )
