I received the email today and saw my case had been touched today claiming they received my imbra rfe on July 8th which is good, but I am not understanding this which was in the notice.

Application Type: I129F, PETITION FOR FIANCE(E)

Current Status:

On July 8, 2006, we received your response to our request for evidence or information. However because preliminary processing was complete, the remaining processing time will be less than the maximum stated in this message. You will receive a written decision on this case. You can use our processing dates to estimate when this case will be done. Follow the the link below for current processing dates.

It states that the remaining processing time will be less than the maximum stated in this message, well there wasn't anytime stated in the message. ???

And what does it mean that preliminay processing was complete??

I am sure that I saw a post like this before but would appreciate any responses from you. Is this good? Or just another blow off?

Thanks so much for letting me bother you on what is probably already been posted before.

This is the standard response to all RFEs, in particular IMBRA RFEs. I got my email on July 3, 2006. So far no update or information yet. We're all waiting to see when the first California post-IMBRA RFE goes through!

Well I sent my up on July 3rd and they said it would get to them on the 5th because of the holiday. CSC says they received it on the 8th!! And I got the update today the 10th. So maybe you will hear something tomorrow good.gif

If you take it at face value then it means they did some processing before they sent the RFE. These RFE's are different than the one we usually see here since everyone that filed after march 6 got one. But I do know they touched me several times before the sent mine so one would think that they were doing something other than looking at my NOA1 date to see if I needed the IMBRA RFE.

That's wierd...I look at a lot of people here and it seems most of us have been touched at least once...the only times I've heard anythig from CSC was when I sent my petition in, been received,m NOA1 sent and then the RFE...I haven't heard anything since in between. Is it a good thing that you get touched?

Anyway, I just sent back my IMBRA RFE about a couple weeks ago. given my timeline below...can anyone guesstimate what and when will happen next?
