hi everyone! just thought i'd let everyone know we got our interview date for Sept. 8!!! although the date is about 5 months from when we sent back our checklist, that's ok. it's just good to know that we're almost there!

Great news, bcmcfish & laura--- looks like your cases took 6 months? And now I see that CanGal got their date, and hers took 8 months.
Have I counted right, and it's fair to tell newcomers that 6-8 months is about the DCF timeline? Any comments on how much faster that is than a stateside case w/a similar I-130 filing date?

Six months to the day for us, yeah. smile.gif Not sure how it compares to a stateside case, though...

well, my brother-in-law and sister-in-law went through the process last year, and theirs took about 10 months in total going the stateside route... ours took just over 6 months, so that's the only comparison i can give...

we're so relieved to have the end in sight... it's really awesome...

now, what to do with our lives? smile.gif
