This is my first time posting on this forum, and I have a worry about the Nebraska service center. We sent in our petition (I130) in August 2005 and NOA1 was sent soon after, but we have been waiting for NOA2 for a while now and have recieved nothing.
I have been checking updates from thier sites, but it seems the part which says American citizens inviting sposes has been completely taken out for a while now.
Does anyone know what is happening, or is anyone in the same situaqtion?
Just a little worried
NB: I am ROFA's sister, writing on her behalf. She is in for an interview in Montreal, she asked me to do this.

They might be doing some security checks on that file or something. Why don't you try to contact them and see what they tell you.

Yeah I noticed that as well a while back that Nebraska is not processing I-130's.

Are I-130's for Nebraska being forwarded to CSC?? If thats the case then they are processing petitions received 5th August 2005 and that being the case and everything is in order, she should receive her NOA2 once the processing date reaches that of your sisters. Going by her timeline the receipt date is sometime around mid august.

That is way too long of a wait, give them a call. Good luck

Not too long a wait Jim when it is the I-130 and it looks like Nebraska may be forwarding the I-130's elsewhere. If its CSC then as I said above the processing date for the I-130 is only now at 5th August 2005.

Hi Rofa's sister,

I sent my I-130 to Nebraska in July of 2005. I received the approval email from California on Jan 13 2006- but when I received he paper NOA it was dated Jan 23 (go figure). Your sisters is probably right around the corner.

Ours was forwarded to CSC. It almost seems that everyone's is being sent to CSC, except for those who get Vermont.

Hiya........This is a normal timeline, the I-130 will of been transfered to California as Nebraska no longer process the I-130, there are a few people with the August NOA dates, yes.gif its a very long wait i know, but they must be pretty close to processing all those people with August NOA's........Good Luck!! good.gif
