Donna, the puppy is adorable. I used to show dogs, and was a canine artist for many years. Oh, I guess I kinda still am, but it's hard to do anything creative when I'm so stressed!

I swear, K's news is so great! good.gif See you at NVC, K! I'll be the official greeter for the next 6 months, cause I'm stuck there for a while. LOL.

i know this is none of my business, but why are you the one calling NVC instead of your husband? you'll prolly save if your husband calls nvc, don't you think? unless it's really cheap to call from australia to the us. hehehe good.gif

its because my husband is not the one doing the paperwork, i am. i have done this whole process myself from australia and all he does is sign forms when i mail them to him, and pay bills when i need them paid. i know it sounds terrible, but others are doing it this way also.

if he called NVC i would be worried that he would get a question he might not be able to answer on the spot and i dont want it affecting our case.

anyway maybe i am being paranoid. but no, its not cheap to call the US from Australia.

my phone bills are ridiculous.

You should get magicjack, thats what I got my wife in India and it works great. Free calls smile.gif I do occasionally use the calling card so that I have phone records as well.

my best friend had a yorkie named bandit. he was the best dog. she had him for 14 years. unfortunately had to put him down earlier this year. RIP, i still miss him rose.gif.

Don't worry! Things are really slow at the NVC because of so many people getting approval. So when you get there, it will be much faster. Hopefully soon!

Did you register your case? If not. please register first

https://egov.uscis.gov/cris/jsps/registercustomer.jsp

afterwards, you can see the Last Updated column, if the date change, thats the time that they touched your case. Hope this helps! biggrin.gif

Hi,

If you didn't call them, how did they know your email address? Did they send it to your USCIS e-add? does it mean that if we register our case on USCIS website, no need to call NVC to give our e-add? Please advise.

By the way, did you try to check in USCIS site if your case was touched after your NOA2?

Thanks a lot pogi!

I am going to call again to get IIN number... I am not sure if they will send me via email...

Hello guys!!!! Hope you guys are having a great time!!!! I can see that they are now approving those July filers and happy for them and still breaking my heart cause it is taking so long for us to move forward.

For my VJers family especially K, Julie, Donna, IT and for all of those who understand how i feel right now, I want to thank you all for the support and courage you are giving me. I really appreciate everything guys! My husband will be in the Philippines next month and with my health condition (PCOS) Polycystic Ovarian Syndrome it is more tough to be away from him. In his visit, we are hoping that we will have our first baby and with my health condition, it will be difficult for me to conceive if I am experiencing of stress and depression. Ladies, this might be a bit dramatic but I decided not to check and visit Visa Journey until we had our NOA2 or maybe until I get pregnant.

As soon as you saw metro420's post, it might be pregnancy or approval or maybe both..

For those who are in NVC process, goodluck and hope you will have smooth journey. For those who will be approved soon, please accept my advance CONGRATULATIONS...

Again, K, Julie, Donna and the others, thank you so much from the bottom of my heart!!! I will miss you and Goodluck to all of you!!!
Twisted K
metro, we will miss you, but your health is the number 1 priority. take care of yourself and enjoy your time with your husband. i had to take a break from posting on VJ also when we were waiting on our NOA2. it can be very frustrating. good luck, and cannot wait until you post the good news yes.gif

when they sent me the invoice for the aos, there's a pdf file attached to that email, and in that attached file says "invoice ID number", is that the IIN??? because i didn't ask for the IIN or anything but i like i said, on that invoice says invoice id number.

actually they sent me 2 emails. one is ds3032 and the other is aos invoice (although the aos invoice also has the ds3032 included).

ops sorry for being misleading. i didn't know that wife (beneficiary) called nvc. she told me that after three weeks of being approved she decided to call once to see whether they assigned us the case number. i think this was a few days ago. the operator told her "no" and then the operator asked for our email address then that's about it. after 2 days, (yesterday), there we got 2 emails. one for ds3032, another is AOS invoice (which has the IIN, i think).

it's emailed as pdf like this:

NVC Case Number: xxx##########
AOS Invoice for: LAST NAME, FIRST NAME (name of petitioner)
Invoice Date: September 17, 2009
Amount Due: $70.00
Invoice ID Number: ######## (i wonder if this is the IIN they are talking about???)

Hello Natt141,

You can call NVC @ (603) 334-0700, you need ur USCIS number. when you call NVC to speak with an officer option 5, or AVR system 1,1 and 1 if CSC then press 4.

thanks,
IT.
mrsemcee
Yeah what IT said.

I got my number from the automated phone line.

I didn't get the operator to tell me, but when I have spoken to the operators, they tell you what information they need.... Just call them.

Thanks alot.. I will try to call them on Monday night here...

Wow, they finally fixed the bug on the USCIS website, FIRST TIME since June (when we got our case number) that we can check our status online ! wacko.gif

Seems our case has been touched on the 18th, still no NOA2 in the mailbox though. I still kinda dont understand why they dont treat cases in order, it's cool some ppl have their case completed fast but so heartbreaking to see ppl filing after u getting their NOA2 when u still have no news on ur own case. unsure.gif
Hope to get ours soon and that process gets smooth for all.
IT_1
Hey Guys,

I just checked USCIS site and now they have new site and page. Login to check your case on USCIS. I think will give you bit more information. now thru tab you can see where your case is standing.... good.gif

Thanks,

Hi,

Is there anyone here who had petition 2 or more beneficiaries (separate I-130)? Such as both parents, parent & wife.. etc.. Just badly needed your assistance on filling up I-864.

Thanks a lot!
