Still looking forward to it but instead of frustration and depression, i want to revert it in excitement as hubby will be here next month.

metro... ooh i hope you all get approved soon. i will surely help you if i happen to go through NVC quicker or something like that.

you know, guys, i feel sooo calm now. i have sent off I864 and I864A to hubby to sign and send off when the AOS bill is paid, and i am calling NVC tomorrow to get my case number, or at least try, and once we get that, we can pay the AOS bill online, send off the DS3032 email, and away we go!

the DS230 is also totally completed and i am sending that one to hubby tomorrow so he can mail it as soon as the DS3032 is accepted and they generate our IV bill.

then i have my panel medical exam on Friday 18th Sep (next week) and i am super excited to get that one done!

i am a tiny bit nervous koz i have a big tattoo on my lower arm (its pretty, its all flowers and insects, and a butterfly, but its still a bit tattoo) and i am hoping the doc doesnt care. i am sure he wont, koz here in Melbourne, and Australia really, tattoos arent really taboo or anything.. but who knows. my hubby has tattoos also, so i think its not really an issue. theyre quite attractive on us, and cost a LOT of money, so theyre nice.

anyway im rambling now hehe.

I'm off with Cindy to Egypt all next week with work, got landlord meetings for our new building and then when we get back I'm off to Florida for some quality time with her and Josie, been ages since we last saw each other. At *some* point during all this I'll get our case number, pay the bill and send off the email. I think I am going to have to spend off and on about a month in Egypt, just hope it doesn't get in the way of the nvc process and I can time things just right because I really don't want any delays

Oh, I have an appointment on Friday at the doctors to get all my immunisations up to date and also to do an hiv test. I HATE needles, there is nothing on this earth that reduces me to a quivering wreck like the sight of one...

ooh you poor thing. i hate needles too funnily enough but not as much as you, and even funnier, my TATTOO ARTIST, she said she hates needles! haha

Hi everyone.....
does anybody filed both wife and stepchild at the same time? were just wondering coz my
papers (wife) was touched 3 times while our beautiful daughter (stepchild) touced once.
Our daughter was touched last june 23, while mine june something, august 26 & 27.
Curious coz some of the june filers got touched and were approved days or a week after.
Hopefully would be no problem with our papers and were wanting both our NOA2 approved at the same time.
Will they approved it separately or together???
Any Info Helps.....

it would be amazing if we got approved today today was our first choice of a wedding date after the failure of our K1. easy for us to remember anniversaries but alas, we moved the date up to May 12, another significant number for us

i am super excited at the thought of MAYBE being in the US by Nov 18th which is our one year wedding anniversary

I think she will get her approval very very soon. we have a complicated situation in our case. i just pray that they do not lose any of the documents i sent. i did make sure to scan everything for my husband, but they have the original receipts, affidavits, etc.

Did you actually called and bother them a lot or you just listened to the automated service. I talked to the operator today and she said it usually takes about 2-4 weeks and might take up to 90 days to get the case number. I hope it won't take that long.

Glad you got the NOA2 hardcopy. I am glad to other Filipinas getting approved but its killing me cause we have filed our papers a month before them! I think this is unfair but what can I do? Do you think I need to email USCIS again?

I am losing hope guys, I really feel so down now to see approvals who filed after us though I am really that a lot of people are getting approved. hi, metro. i shed plenty of tears and sleepless nights, and i am sure my best friend grows weary of hearing my worries and woes. the journey is long, but keep the faith. know that it won't be long before you will be together. i know it is very hard to see approvals when you feel like you are stuck in a black hole. God will give you strength to endure. Sometimes i think we have an advantage to those who meet and marry people within their own country. our relationships survive the very difficult task of feeling like you have spent more time apart than you have together. i have spent a combine total of 5 months with my husband in our little over 2 year relationship. when i am down, he is strong and vice versa. good luck on your journey, sweetie, i pray you will be with your husband soon in the usa.

im on the same boat.. still waiting.. i just read this post of you miss K.. and quite struck me since we almost share the same thing.. my husband and i have been hand in hand for almost 10 yrs.. and distance has been a huge part of our relationship.. we've spent so much time apart than we have together.. but here we are still deeply in love with each other.. yes this whole waiting thing is very frustating but we never lose hope.. we cheer each other up whenever it gets so depressing.. and God has always given us the strength and comfort we need to endure being apart.. anyway, i know our time will come and we'll be spending the rest of forever with our husbands soon..
