The process seems entirely random to me--I think that's what so frustrating about it to many of us. We're told that applications are processed in the order in which they're received, but this site is clear proof that they are not. And there doesn't seem to be any rhyme or reason to it--some Western European and Canadian applications (whom I think those of us with Middle-Eastern/South Asian/African beneficiaries think would get preferential treatment) get approved in 2 months, others take much, much longer. And there's never any communication as to why, so we're all just left scratching our heads as some of us get approved in record time, and others take much longer.
I have a Canadian application pending for almost 2 months now, no touches and I hope its true what they say about faster approvals for us. However, I tend to be one of those people who gets hit by every Murphy's Law so with my luck, it will take years! LOL. This process is driving me crazy- if I at least get some touches I'd feel better but the fact that its been sitting around with no touches makes me nervous!
Ah well! Ok, but here's to hoping it comes in sooner rather than later!
