smile.gif I bet we are all over the USA though once we arrive..

Nothing to report here.... I'm just hanging around stalking the USCIS website!!!

That sounds fun! The husband and I love traveling yes.gif

Hey, let's see the brighter side, if they stick with the 91 days, that is just the month after next smile.gif September will be here before you know it! We could all be with our family by Christmas. That would be the best gift I could receive kicking.gif

Sorry to hear that, have you contacted USCIS?

I have called uscis, they told me that he would send my info to the help desk but he truly acted like i was bothering him. Call me crazy but i do want to be able to see the touches and check to see that nothing has happened!!
mrsemcee
Wwellllllll i guess it's good news it will be sent to helpdesk!

I don't think you're crazy, I check mine every single day lol

happy Wednesday folks! Well it's Wednesday here smile.gif

Hello everyone! Hope everyone's doing alright! I am getting frustrated in waiting for this process. I don't know what are their basis in processing. Grrrr!
kballtex
So I've been posting in the wrong forum... Guess I'm a June filer (NOA1 June 6, 2009). I am hoping something good happens to our case. I've not seen any news of a touch or anything on the USCIS website. Do you find out about "touches" by calling customer service?
Gordons2009
HAPPY HUMP DAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Well, i decided to stay away from VJ and USCIS for a few days. And i sort of found it as a relief. It got my mind off it for a while. I think i'm starting to sprout grey hairs!!! JOKES!

I am so grateful that all the June filers see plenty of touches within the next week and we all get NOA2 by September.

I am so grateful that we are all approved !!!

HAPPY VJing!!
mrsemcee
Hmm I wonder if we will get to the US before thanksgiving!? I am hoping to be there by halloween but we will see...

How's everyone going?

As for the touches, you see them online but I haven't seen one since they cashed my check... sad.gif

My hubby leaves me to go back to the USA on Saturday so I'm trying to be strong and keep positive....
lgg
Hi there mrsemcee!

Sounds like you're right on the ball my dear! Sounds like we've got a bit of a rest from NVC now as I was was told that accepting our choice of agent form'll take a few days. It's okay though, still waiting on my Canada-wide name check forms so, it's not like I'm all ready. Plus I'm helping my guy get his AOS package done up and ready to go which hopefully we'll have out by Friday. Hoping we have it all correct and such -- I wonder about things like, is this the right timing we CAN send his AOS package off right, as we did pay the bill. These are things that when I'm at work I have mini freak outs about. Just musing aloud, guys... sorry... smile.gif

Sad that your guy is leaving on Saturday but on the bright side, you had him for a goodlong time and before you know it, you'll be together all the time.
You'll have us here to help get you through the immigration fun times!
smile.gif
Good job with the vaccination stuff, man... that was a little loop thrown to me but I'm just glad I got off my butt and figured it out sooner than not.
Drop me a PM anytime, okay?
Good luck to all you June filers, hope the NOA2s start rolling in...
Best,
LGG

hi lgg and the other friendly june filers!! biggrin.gif

i am doing ok, i am getting prepared to take my husband to the airport on saturday, he goes back to the USA... sad.gif

i have my passport interview tomorrow to change my name to my married name on my passport so i have correct ID when this is all over..

i also booked in my police check and fingerprints interview for august 14th so i am "pre-preparing" things hehe.

i will book my doctors appointment to get a blood test next week to organise my vaccination history before noa2 comes in.

looking forward to THAT day, thats for sure!

i also start a new job next week, so thats good news. it will keep me going til i leave for the USA finally!

love to all and keep on being happy! *dances* hehe

kicking.gif kicking.gif kicking.gif

lgg
Wow, that sounds pretty accurate, actually... we got approved after 92 days. Three months on the dime since our NOA1...
No joke, actually.
smile.gif
Seriously, it goes by a lot faster than you think... busy with work and friends and stuff, next thing you know.

But in all honesty, hindsight is 20/20 because while we were waiting for the NOA2, I was a freaking basket case of huge proportion.

Hi there... just an FYI... your case is not even a month in. If I may say, and not being rude here, don't call for while, okay? I know it's hard -- i wanted to call every day but I'm the beneficiary and could not. Good thing, actually. Sometimes, and this is NOT a proven fact, but if you call too often, you could actually slow down your case adjudication a bit. Wait until month 3 at least or something but less than a month in? Don't call yet, it takes less time to renew your Drivers' License...
Just saying...
And good luck -- I do know that it's hard not to call and stuff but I'll tell you, it'll usually get you nowhere unless you're 5-6 months in and thus, past the usual processing time.

I called today, just to try the customer service route. So frustrating, they just basically read me verbatim what was on the online case status page I was staring at. One interesting note is the processing times on their end were screwy and showed they were complete up to Nov 15th, 2003. So then they transferred me to an officer, who echoed the 5 months timeframe.

They were more compassionate than I expected but still no help really. Best of luck to everyone else, I'm starting to lose my mind waiting on this NOA2.
Twisted K
Well, I have been "touched" today laughing.gif Unfortunately, not on the I-130 petition, but our expired I-129F for when we applied for the fiance visa last year. I am praying that it was just to send an expired letter, not a re-validation letter, considering we are now married, so fiance visa would no longer apply. I guess we will soon find out, since it still only says that they received our petition on February 4 with a request for review.

I made sure to reference the previous case number several times in this petition. I wish they reviewed by SSN to see we already have our second petition on file. I130 still shows June 30, 2009 as the last update sad.gif so they haven't made the connection as of yet.

Haha, I know!!! I swear I almost peed my pants when I saw the email. I was saying to hubby at dinner (we went out to celebrate!) that I must have broken a record, hehehehe. I think it was so quick because we've been married for 3 years, I've lived with him for 3.5 in Canada, and sent lots of financial mixing/lease agreement stuff.

I am so lost as to what to do now. I wasn't prepared for this at all!

I'm frustrating now..I just checked the info from USCIS about "USCIS Processing Time Information for our

https://egov.uscis.gov/cris/processTimesDisplay.do
It says I-130 Petition for Alien Relative U.S. citizen filing for a spouse, parent, or child under 21
Processing Timeframe:November 15, 2003
What is this????..I filed on June 2009. How long I have to wait for the whole process? Anybody has any ideas about it? All we can do just pray?
Oh boy! I hope it's not what I understood.

you will see the filing date (e.g., “April 10, 2003”) of the last case we processed on the date the website chart was last updated.

so i hope they done with that case the last case they approved was of that date that is why processing time is like that whenever or maybe the next time they update the site they will update it with most recent apporved case so that case comes in last 5 months period they will update it again like 5 months again
mrsemcee
I am chiding not to look at things like the USCIS processing times because it'll just depress me, I say we all just try to think positively and be happy for those who get action. It's probably more realistic to watch what is going on here instead koz it tends to work in patterns right?

i saw that info too. it changed from "5 months" to "november 15, 2003". that's very odd though. the website says that they updated that chart every 15th of the month. so i guess we have to wait til august 15th to see the updates.

Today, the separation was just getting to me. I was talking to my husband, and I just bursted into tears. I think I hid it well, because I didn't want him to be sad too. Thank you, Metro! I'm honestly not sure at all how this has happened. I think it might have to do with the fact that I immigrated to Canada from the US to marry and live with him - have been here for 3.5 years.

I think they must have had some technical issues. It bounced around there for a while. This morning, I got a servlet error. Now that it's back up, it's saying 5 months again. I think they probably just had the wrong table row in there or something.

Sure did cause a ruckus with my heart - I think it stopped when I read November 2003. blush.gif

I'm sad but I know the next time I go to Melbourne airport, will be when I move to the USA permanently!!!

Yaaay to that!

It's also our 8 month wedding anniversary smile.gif
