No, I think there is more to it. I talked to Lucas today (very briefly....before my computer took a big Sh*t) and he told me there were a bunch of forms in it. I was curious what they were and how to help him with it. I think one of the forms may be a "termination of process" form...but that's just a guess! I haven't been able to get a hold of him...lately it's been difficult to communicate between my crappy computer and his crappy computer *HA*!!!!!............

Ok ...so I just talked to Lucas (Finally!) and here is what he told me is in the packet 4:
DS-156 (02-2003)........... (again!, why? I don't know)

co/fed04 - i don't know what this is!

Don't worry, dear... I didn't receive mine so far! So, I e-mailed them asking about it and they told they sent in the week of June 5th. So, I suppose it simply got lost in the mail!
They sent me all the necessary forms by e-mail... I'm gonna send you!

Actually, Lucas got the packet 4 on Monday July 3rd!!! and the forms I noted above are what came in the packet. I'm wondering why we need to fill out the DS-156 again. Anyone know? and also....can someone

It's probably a trick USCIS tells you to send the same form twice, haven't you notice several forms have the same questions? So that way they can check if you wrote one thing first and the second time you wrote a different story Maybe I'm paranoid but it does make sense.

Why again ? I don't remember filling it before in the whole process

Well... I have the forms already.. just don't have the sworn thing and the appointment letter... I am worried that they don't let me get in the consulate because I don't have it

I think the appointment letter is just the paper that tells you what day your interview is on. But, don't fret just yet (A'hem yes, sometimes i like to rhyme my sentences...it's a talent, i know).....I'm sure you will be receiving your packet 4 definitely by next week!!! Remember you are approx. 2.5 weeks behind me and we just got ours on Monday...so no *YIKES* just yet!!! What's got me all freaked out now is that Lucas sent in his passport and the I-134 papers i had sent to him along with the forms in the packet 3! and why? ~shrug~ I dunno!!!!! (and neither does he! *HA*) ...Oh well, I sent the consulate an email today to make sure they have it in a file somewhere in the consulate *fingers-crossed*...i'm sure they do!!!

as a side note.....We should go get a beer when this is all said and done! You'll only be 2 hours away!!!!

Tell him to keep in mind his passports stays ALWAYS with him during this process. I hope the consulate will sort this one out. And I hope you don't have to send the I-134 all over again.

I wrote a little Affidavit Guide with all the stuff Luis has to send me, what needs copies, what needs originals, what needs to be notarized, etc.

I also did everything on this side of the equator until Val got her packet 4 which actually I did also (x3 for her two boys) when I went with her for her interview. But it is alright - I did not mind one bit.
