We have not received our RFE yet.... got the notice it was sent June 23rd -- you know the story. We are both so numb with sadness. And, my fiance's sister celebrates her 17 yr anniversary this weekend. Fiance had to get out and away from it all. Talk about withdrawal and isolation. So much sadness.

I got the RFE e-mail on 23 June and the actual RFE on 03 July. I believe they sent these out in batches, based upon the arrival dates of others, with the same e-mail date. You should get it in a day or two. If not, call them..Oh, and don't settle for the "canned" call us in 60 days B.S. Drill down for an answer!!!

well, mine did arrive today, so I was a drama queen for nothing.

Blue Surf, I understand the feeling. The process, the wait... is stressful. If you don't get it in the next few days, call them. I have a feeling we were on the tail end of things... perhaps you will get it tomorrow.

July 8 and no RFE yet. They say mailed June 23 (yeah right!).

I think that e-mail went out, irrespective of when the item was actually sent. I got the same e-mail, yet the post mark on the RFE was 29 June. They should not BS VJ'ers....We know better!!!! You should get it any day now. Hang in there.

hey, thanks William. I read alot of them were postmarked on June 29. I sure do hope it comes this coming week. I can turn it aroundin 15 minutes after making copies. The return envelope is already filled out, and the printer is full of fresh paper and ink. All I can do for now is wait for the postman.

I'm back after being out of the country with my fiance for the past 10 days. And guess what - NO RFE. I also received the email this past week saying mine was sent on June 23.

So I left a voicmail for my nice senator's office contact to let her know that I hadn't received it by June 30 - she told me to call if it wasn't here by then. She left a message back when I was gone saying that if it wasn't here by the time I returned (today July 9) to call her and she will arrange to get a copy faxed to me. I am going to wait to see if it comes in tomorrow's mail and then talk with her again. She also said she had additional information about the RFE process - I think she was referring to how they are processing so I will post that if I get any more information by tomorrow or Tuesday.

Hi, our NOA1 from Nebraska was on March 9th, and we still don't have anything: no e-mail, no RFE, not even an updated status on the USCIS website

I JUST got mine yesterday even though I received the email on July 3 saying they sent it out on June 23 and the postmark was June 29. Try to hold tight - you should have it tomorrow.

July 12 today, and no RFE yet.

I wonder if it is possible that there were more than two batches of mail sent out. I cannot imagine that you would not have received your RFE if it was mailed on the 29th. The last time I sent mail to Beijing it got there faster than this.

Have you tried your Senator's office? Mine told me if I hadn't received it by last Friday to contact her and she would get a fax to me. I ended up receiving it on July 10 so I didn't pursue the fax - but I think you should contact someone for help - this is much too long. Where do you live?

I am in Illinois. I do read that some have not been mailed until June 29. Some other OP's have stated that the just received only yesterday. I know the email states to wait 30 days for a phone call, but I feel I should call tomorrow if not received by then. It just sucks, because it will only take me 15 minutes to sign and return by next day air, and all this down time may keep us apart longer depending on how CSC will handle the RFE's once returned. In the big picture I know it is not a long wait, but we are going through China. So no matter what, we still have months to go, and each day longer only gives us a future interview date of who knows? Even an NOA2 of today's date would still put us at least 4-5 months longer, and probably more. Just venting, as it seems that no matter how well we are prepared, there always comes a snag or delay.




Yep, it only takes just standard airmail (84 cents) to arrive in 8 days for me. It will show, but the wait is driving me crazy as it is such an easy RFE.

I'll PM you the person to call at Barak Obama's office - she's very nice and helpful. First you have to fill out the privacy form, fill in your case information and the reason for your request - that you still haven't received the RFE - and fax it to their office.

I'm waiting for CSC to acknowledge receipt, but I don't imagine that will happen before next week.

No RFE received here yet. Email stated the mailed it on June 23. Contacted my senators office (thank you kitkat1), and faxed them the release to inquire for me. The contact person is out of the office today, and will return on Monday. So perhaps I will hear something early next week. All I ask for right now is the RFE so I can sign it and next day it back to them, and then they can put me back in the waiting line again.

Oh that is SO aggravating. I know how you feel since I just got mine on Tuesday. Please call the senator's office again on Monday - hopefully she can get a copy faxed to you ASAP.

I thought mine was lost too. But after many more gray hairs, it finally arrived. Then it took a week for them to confirm receipt of it.

The RFE they sent on June 23 was returned to CSC because of change of address. They had to send it again to the new address, so finally we were able to mail it back to CSC via overnight delivery. They should receive it on Monday, and we'llll wait for them to update our status.

I faxed my Senator's office on Friday, and hopefully they will make contact with the CSC on Monday for me. I did not receive the RFE in todays mail. Now watch, the day they make contact, it will show up.

We haven't even received the e-mail most people has received about the RFE being sent on June 23rd., no touches either I'm affraid they lost our case or put our file in some sort of AR without even sending the RFE

I'm so frustrated! I spent the last 2 weeks postponing all the wedding plans that we had for August to an indefinite date until we get the visa, and believe me, this is not something I would wish for anybody
