Welp! Lucas and I finally got our interview date scheduled for July 27th in Rio. We haven't received the Packet 4 yet, but I'm sure that is soon to come....now to sit back and watch another month go bye...*sigh*

One question, how come their interview is sooner if you got your packet 4 before?

I'm not sure I understand your question sorry sweetie.....I have not recieved my packet 4 yet (I did at one point have a date in that box, but I have no idea what I was doing or thinking that day ...sorry for being crazy). I sent an email to the consulate and they replied with my interview date.

I meant that you just found out your interview date and it seems Lisz had hers since a while ago, and hers is not until August.

Ohhhhh OK! I'm sorry I understand now! Yes, Lisz did send in her packet 3 after me, but she was smarter than I and emailed the consulate just 3 days after she mailed everything to get her interview date. I on the otherhand was sitting around waiting for my packet 4 until I saw what Lisz' smarty pants did.......so i followed her lead, emailed the consulate and got my interview date!!!

Because she sent in her packet 3 about 2.5 weeks later than me!!!

Yes, you can dear!!! As soon as you know your petition is already in Rio, you can already send the forms back! I did this, but by coincidence, I sent the packet 3 back and, when I arrived home, the packet 3 was in my mail! haha I could have gotten my interview date sooner if I had sent before, but I couldn't call them and they took too long to reply my e-mail saying that they already had my papers... *hugs*

Ahhh, just to add: I didn't receive my package 4 so far... They said they sent it in the week of June 5th... So, it got lost for sure!
Anyway, I e-mailed them and they sent me all the instructions and the forms by e-mail... So, no problems with this!
