I know that there are a lot of us in the same boat. We have already been approved by both USCIS and NVC but now we are waiting on the recall. Does anyone out there think it would be a good idea to have some kind of day of fun and relaxation in the sun? We could always share our mutual love for the Vermont Service Center and its inability to correctly handle the most important documents most of us have ever filed.

Just a thought for those people using the Vermont Service Center. Since we are all at the exact same stage in the game and share every waking moment thinking about the same thing it would be great to spend some time thinking about anything else.

We are all in this together. At this point in time it feels like the marraige is going to be the easy part.

I'd love to hear what you think.

norotonfd,

I think you're no worse off, and no better off, because of the VSC's approval and subsequent recall of the petitions than if they had not approved them. There is some emotional impact but there is no immigration impact, you're in the same position as everyone else who submitted I-129f petitions after 5 March as you should be.

For more on this, check my rant: Just venting/Wrong Place at Wrong Time.

If I'm back in New York in August with no RFE in sight I will gladly do a Dylan Thomas impression with the rest of us poor souls.

And Yodrak is off the mark, unfortunately. Please don't patronize us by telling us we're no worse off, no matter the qualification. Sorry.

Add me to the list of poor souls who had a NOA2 and is waiting for a n RFE.
Gonna get my local Senator involved. I have really had it with waiting.
My problem is, I will wait 4 to 5 months for another interview date after I get re approved here. My interview date was gonna be August 22nd before IMBRA Hell took over.

I posted this in it's own thread, but I am adding to here as well:

I just received a call from Senator Specter's (PA) office. I was told that petitions that have already been approved (NOA's) and sent to the embassy and had to be recalled are being processed last... I guess everyone already knows this already, but its good to find out something. Even though it means those who submitted in March are being screwed over while they process more recently received petitions. Appartently they are sending the RFE's to all peitions that have NOT been previously sent overseas first, before moving on to people that actually were approved. (Where is there any logic in that!???)

I know people have been receiving differnt things from congressmen and senator's, so hopefully this may not be 100% correct either. Either way, my wedding is trashed, and yet more money down the drain.. Thank's USCIS and thank you Congress for screwing us over and over!
