What an experience that was. I was certainly stressed about the whole process but found the people there at the consulate were nice. They are very thourough about all your required documentation. I was missing a divorce document but the lady I was dealing with accepted what I had in lieu of. Thank god!! My fiance was married before like me but they never even asked him for his divorce decree or marriage certificate. It was a long day but worth every minute of it. I hope the AOS process is a little easier than this was.
Does anyone know if this is true?

I went through vancouver too for my K3 and the pple were GREAT!!! have all your papers for the AOS.... and I mean ALL.... so copies of anything, you will get a checklist to use. If anyone has been married before plse make sure you have copies of divorce papers. If you have kids either of you, you will copies of bc too.
good luck

Congrats for the visa ! I went through Vancouver for my K3 and they were very nice and responsive to my inquiries. For AOS, make sure you keep copies of all your docs, and keep the vaccination paper too (I mean the one that they gave you during your medical). I submit a copy of my vaccination paper that I got from the doctor in Vancouver and went in smoothly in AOS. My AOS interview is less stressful, at least hubby were there with me, and I spent longer time waiting in the consulate than in the district office.
