Hi, I am new here but have been reading for awhile. I have a DS-230 question....my husband has a misdemeanor CIMT that, along with illegal presence, makes him ineligible and we will have to file an I-601 waiver. I haven't received anything from the NVC yet, but I've been looking at the forms to anticipate what info I need to gather. I notice that the DS-230 asks about criminal history...will this affect them forwarding the application on to CDJ? Has anyone else dealt with this? Thx!

Basically he will have his interview, refused and then the waivers need to be filed, 2 by the look of it but both are similar in format.
