Woo Hooo

After a near collision on the runway of France, and a 2 hour delay in immigration due to a messed up computer system, my Tarik has FINALLY ARRIVED!!!!!

We have been waiting so looooonnnnnnnnnnggggg (and sorry it took me a week to post this can't imagine why)

But he is here, and now going crazy while I'm at work, cuz he has to sit at home and wait.

Does anyone know if he can start work yet, or does he have to wait til his green card comes? He is here on a CR-1 and came in through POE O'hare.

Any info appreciated!

Congratulations on your husband being reunited with you now.

He will need his ss card before he can start working. It should come within a few weeks if he checked it on the paperwork. If you do not hear from them in 2 -3 weeks go to your local office and have them order him a card. It takes a few weeks to trigger his arrival and all systems updated.

My husbands timeline.

05/23/06 Home
06/05/06 Social Security Card arrives.
06/12/06 2 Yr. Conditional Green card arrives along with 4 Welcome to the USA letters.
