yes, we have it in ice hockey, why not football? it's only fair.
and every time van nistelrooy scores a goal, replay should be done because 90% of his goals are off side.

That plus the ball with the goal detector. France scored against South Korea and it wasn't called a goal. South Korea keeper cleared the ball when it was clearly over the line.

NO! Instant replay is not the answer. Plus that type of intervention would slow the game, and that is one of the keystone elements of soccer that should remain. Better refereeing will clear up the problem.

Craig and I were just talking about this the other day during a USA game. We both thought there should be, yes...at least during big games. If it's not something they want to institute for normal season play, whatever...but games as big as the World Cup should have some way of proving or disproving a goal in our opinions...M. Any Cups...European,etc as well...

Nope. Don't agree. The fast movement of the game and endurance of the players is all too important to compromise it with instant replay. FIFA needs to make the referee qualifications/standards more stringent to prevent incompetence.

I dont think replay is good.
Chist o mighty..are we turning soccer into a American spectater sport.. every sport in america is slow. Baseball, football, hockey basketball..
Americans just need to accpet the fact that soccer is a fast pace game and the clock does not stop every freak second.
They slowed football down so the advertisers can sell scome crap..that is why their is so many commerical breaks during football games.. the game is 60 mins. it takes 3 or 4 hours to get thru the damm game..
soccer you know you it will be done in 90 or so minutes..
the chip in the ball is a stuipd ideal. How offten is that a question.. It is rare most times it is blasted and hits the back of the net, that way their is no question it crossed the line.
Dont forget Soccer is a world sport, it is not being cader for the people of the USA that dont understand soccer.
In the Soccer league in USA, they play to win.. if at end of 90 mins it is tied it goes into overtime.. I hate that about america and the sports.. They have to see a winner and loser. The game should only go into overtime when their is needed a winner like the current round at the world cup.
Sorry this in my opinion

I dunno...I kind of like the idea of replay. I know it would slow the game down but sometimes obvious ref mistakes are just sickening.

I think it's a good idea, but so that it doesn't overly slow up the game maybe limit the request to check the replay to 3 per team. That way the managers aren't questioning every play.

yeah fast pace in bursts.. lucky to have a streach of 30 to 1 min of action. Hockey is good game but just like any other american sport, it is dragged out. 60 min game take between 2 1/2 hrs to play or maybe longer.
I seen a few hockey games in person so dont claim that I never been to one or never watch on. that is for the crj pilot.

so true. Soccer can be very boring, most MLS games for example. Or todays Swizz vs Ukraine game. WHat a drag.
