I buy loose leaf teas from Peet's. My favorites are Jasmin Fancy (green tea), Russian Caravan (black, smoky) and Earl Grey.

I have, over the last month or so, become addicted to convenience store cappuccino. Can't afford that Starbucks habit anymore...

EVery single morning:
Starbucks, grande non-fat vanilla, one splenda latte
sooo good.
OMG i want one now.
BUT when I'm in Australia - I always have tea with milk and honey. I love it - but it reminds me of my husband so I don't drink it here. It's not the same anyway.

A girl who was in my dorm in first year of university told me that in the States to get what Canadians call "ice tea" in the states, you have to ask for Lipton iced tea... then you'll get basically the same thing...
I remember one time i ordered tea in the states and they gave me cold regular tea.. it was the worst thing i ever had!! bleah!!!
I like hot tea.. just regular orange pekoe/black or whatever.. not really a fan of any other kind...

Well.... never was much of a tea person living in Belgium, but then I moved to the UK and discovered PG tips and gotta agree with some here, best darn tea I have ever had! Boiling hot water, 2/3 mixed with 1/3 milk and two sugars.....yum....now I've moved to the US, I havent had a cup in nearly 3 months.
My Mum in law did introduce me to Hazelnut flavoured coffee and its real nice too, but doesnt beat the tea yet.
Like cristy, I have also had the unfortunate experience of being introduced to US ice tea.... on our wedding day none the less!
It was being made the day before, and my eyes brows already raised at the fact that big jugs were being filled with cold water and tea bags and being put on the drive way to cool. Still, my husband tells me to try new things so come the wedding reception I decided to have some...... did I regret that!
As I was trying to sip it with a straight face, my hubby suddenly asked if I was ok to get ready to leave..... well, you can guess how quickly I jumped up and never looked back at that drink!
On our way to our honeymoon I did spot the Snapple Ice Tea brand, and that is more like it!

I can't stand tea, iced or hot! Something that amuses my fiancees family a great deal.
What an Englishman who does n't like tea? what sort of limey are you?
I then point out I am not English (I've told you before I am not Welsh!), but that seems beyond comprehension.

I like Tetley Tea, Orange Pekoe, the round bags

I like Ice Tea too but it has to have sugar in it

I brew my own Ice Tea using Lipton's Cold Brew pitcher size bags.... it is great

You brew two bags in 2litres/2qt of cold water and then add a cup of sugar and 1/4 cup of lemon juice... YUM!

I like tea, but I prefer coffee. I cannot stand flavored coffee and I find most American coffee to be too weak and too flavorless; coffee is not supposed to be translucent. Favorites: Colombian, Kenyan, Ethopian.
Tea is for later in the day. Favorites: Assam, East Frisian Blend, Green Tea, Rooibos.

I prefer the taste of coffee, but I can honestly take or leave it. I enjoy a cup every now and then though.
my fiance, on the other hand is a die-hard tea drinker. First time he cameover, he brought his own supply of tea bags... they ended up all over the inside of his suitcase! he kept bemoaning how hard it was to get a good cup of tea over here... at coffe shops it was always "english breakfast" or "earl grey" and neither of those are to his taste.
But, when he came again and actually syated with me, he found there are a lot of British imports shops in the city, and came back from it all happy becuase he'd bought a box of PG tips, as well as some biscuits and cadbury roses... or somthing like that.
It was after he'd found that shop he said "ok, I think I can live here."
... all becuase he could have a decent cuppa.

I'm a coffee and a tea drinker. I deplore (is that the right word for 'dislike'?

) Starbucks..........way too strong even after they dilute it!! Tim Hortons is great but I've discovered in the past 6 months or so that McDonald's coffee is way above the rest (

surprised me too!!) As for at home I love Encore (NESCAFE) Instant which I failed to see when I was in Maine so I might have to stock up before I go. We usually went to Dunkin Donuts there (I can take or leave it!) Fussy, eh??
As for Tea.............PG Tips and Tetley are first choice. King Cole and Red Rose is not bad either. And I know where you're coming from about Iced Tea............imagine somebody just giving you a cup of cold tea

It's like when I asked for gravy on my fries.........they (restaurants in the States) thought I was a bit strange!!

Enjoy.......{{{{{{{HUGS}}}}}}}

My favourite tea is King Cole, which I found in Nova Scotia. I love hot tea with cream and sweetener. Now, I will drink coffee...and of course my favourite is Tim Horton's. I'm trying to drink more hot tea, since it's better for me (coffee can cause those annoying fibroid tumours in your boobs).

Kopi Lewak the Exotic New Alternative to StarbucksKOPI LEWAK ( AKA WEASLE POOP COFFEE)
worlds best Coffee
Kopi" is the Indonesian word for coffee and the "Luwak" is the indigenous animal who plays an "active" role in the harvesting of the raw coffee cherries. The Luwak feasts on ripe, red coffee cherries seeking out the sweet taste of the cherry itself, wanting little to do with the parchment of the coffee. Once the Luwak eats the cherry, the parchment covered coffee beans are passed out of the Luwak, with the parchment cover still protecting the green coffee beans.
If I can't have a refreshing cup of weasle joe I prefer green tea

We both drink alot of tea. Marks and Spencer Assam, Kenyan , or Ceylon. I ran out of the tea I brought back with me and tom sent me more. A couple of weeks ago I ran out of that and have had to settle for the Twinings English Breakfast and Twinings Ceylon that I can find here. It's not bad but it's not Marks. Now you all have me curious about PJ tips.
I will be back in the UK in two weeks... for the tea of course...
