I need to arrange my medical and my letter from the embassy appears to be lost. I figure it is about time i got my arse in gear and set up my medical at least. So can you tell me the number please somebody?

Also i wanted to get titres but i don`t know if i will even get enough time to organise my vaccinations through the doctor surgery let alone find out about titres(i can`t even find anythign about that online).

So i am probably just going to get all the damn shots again and pay way too much for things i don`t want.

So can anybody help with the number? time is ticking

thanks a lot.

Graham had his medical today and said it was quite easy. It was at Basil St, and not Bulstrode...but this is the central number for bookings and they wull tell you which facility to attend.

Good luck...
...Now all we need is an interview date ! LOL

Titres are just blood tests to check your immunity for certain diseases - to show you had vaccinations for certain things. If you had them done it would be via your GP and referral to the hospital dept that deals with blood tests (usually the path lab)

You don't have to get everything done for the K1, so you could wait and get your titres done in the US for the AOS. Just call your GP and find out if they do them or who they can refer you to. The other option would be to get your jabs done through your GP which would be a whole lot cheaper than the embassy medical.

You lost the letter? Not sure if it's so important now, but back when I went through the K1, losing the letter would mean they wouldn't let you in.

Yabasta is filing CR-1, and he didn't lose the letter, he is awaiting his packet 4, London is just slow getting things out right now.

laughing.gif What part of immigration is clear? All of us kind of just sitting back waiting on Londons next move. They have had our case nearly a month now. So we are all jumping the gun and getting medicals scheduled. good.gif

I meant Yab's post. Anyway, doesn't matter now no0pb.gif smile.gif

Generally, cases are much faster than a few years back, but I understand how waiting can be frustrating...I've been there yes.gif
