What a lonnnnnnnnnnnnnnng day. We were in that office almost 2.5 hrs. It is really small and busy. One of my kids had to sit on the floor in the waiting room. The reception/nurse and doctor were all very friendly though.

I asked for copies of the medical at the beginning and when I came out to remind her she had sealed it all. So it looks like I am out of luck.

The actual medical was nothing bad. The kids and I had to unzip our pants for him to check for hernias or lumps but no internal. Then just a bunch of questions and listened to our hearts/chests. Oh yeah and a urine test for all of us.

Just an FYI for anyone with younger kids. We don't get hep b shots until grade 6 but they are required before that for immigration. Thankfully my mom was with us so she ran to the pharmacy and got it for us.

I had my xray and blood work done before I went at my family doctor so I did not have to pay for that. And I did it all in one trip. I suggest telling them in advance you can only do one trip. They were very accommodating. I paid $125 for me and $85 for each of the kids. The hep b shots were $32 for 2 vials.

Next stop INTERVIEW!!!!! kicking.gif

Good work!

Scott didn't get a copy of the medical from the Saskatoon doctor, either, so we're in the same boat.

Best wishes on the interview!

Good to hear your medical went well (except for the part where they didn't give you a copy).

Good luck with the interview!

That step went very smoothly - I know your interview will too. I will definetly remember to tell them about me only being able to get to Saskatoon once - it seemed to save alot of $$ and time! Good luck on your next step!!
