Good Afternoon everybody. I hope you are all doing good and getting progress. I know I haven't been here in a while but wanted to let anybody who gets transferred to CSC for AOS that it is a very good thing. Our file got to California on 6/5 and Abdel got his green card in the mail today - no interview. We're quite surprised. The e-mail Friday said to expect it in 3 weeks. This is only 3 days.

One thing I was wondering about: When you travel to visit your SO, do you register on the state department website? I was wondering if maybe that was one reason our case went so fast. I registered when I went to visit Abdel. The registration is a record on the state department files of your trip and the address where you stayed. I also think maybe that's why the local police showed up at Abdel's families' house not long after I arrived and had me go down and register my presence.

I'm just curious how many of you did that and the status of your case. It might be helpful for those still to go through this process to know the impact of that action on their case.

If you're going to be going through Saint Paul, my husband's bio appointment was after day 90, and the EAD was received soon after that. A few other people have gone through Saint Paul and have gotten appointments a little sooner, but still after 2 months.
