sigh, wish I was rich. For that price, you'd think they'd include the scarf huh.gif Maybe next time we go to Cairo, we can go through Moroc and get some cheaper there. The return center for this website is in the twin cities, so when I want something from them, I go and dig around in their returns and can get abayas and such for $30.

How do moroccans afford to dress? i mean i'm wondering if they're really that expensive in morocco..... lol

They're not smile.gif It depends though, I know my sister - in- laws will buy a new kaftan for every wedding/special occasion and sometimes they can cost $50-100 a piece and more. But it's not like they buy them ALL the time. The daily ones are pretty inexpensive and those are what they mostly wear, if they wear them on a daily basis.

These are Beautiful. Prices are totally different over seas then here. There are some Arabic clothing stores where I live and they get there stuf from Lebanon and other middle eastern places. The prices are about 3 times the cost in lebanon.

in comparison with how much money one earns average in algeria, the clothing prices are pretty high here too.

That's very true. I go crazy buying scarves and abayas and the like in Egypt, because 10 LE for a scarf = $2, 100 LE for an abaya is $20.00.

But, for someone who only earns 500 LE a month (a pretty decent salary), that's a huuuuuuge chunk of their income.
