I found this opinion on the website. THIS IS NOT MY OPINION!!! Just curious what people think about it

In July 2004 the proponents announced a new strategy unfairly lumping all IMB's into one group claiming a correlation between IMB's and human trafficking of women into the United States. On July 13, 2004 John Miller (State Dept. Head of Office to Combat Human Trafficking)and Senator Maria Cantwell presented testimony before the Senate Foreign Relations committee to launch a new strategy linking IMB's to Human trafficking of women into the USA for sexual slavery.
Ms. Cantwell proclaimed that IMB's provided the nexis for human trafficking of persons into the United States.
Mr. Miller testified (His testimony fell dramatically short of Cantwell's assertion). Miller claimed a "Possible" or "potential" correlation between IMB's and trafficking of persons into the United States. Miller went on to vaguely show how some women from Vietnam were moved to Taiwan with an IMB used a cover. (Miller provided no examples of the "correlation" specific to the United States). Yet surprisingly Miller claimed that the passing of IMBRA would be a signifighant step to prevent human traficking into the United States.
A DOJ study indicates no signifighant correlation between IMB's and human traficking ionto the United States.
Nonetheless the damage had been done. Miller and other high government ranking imigration officials decided
to target all International marriages where couples met through an IMB. They apparently revised Immigration "policies" interpretation of Federal law already written to instruct suborinate employees who enforce Immigration law for K Visa applicants based upon their definate claim that a correlation between IMB's and Human trafficking into the United States. The policies were then written to reflect a more stringent interpretation of "Sincere interest" for K Visa applicants. Thats why the K Visa process has slowed down considerably over the last year.
In the Federal goverment the interpretation of those law is what really counts. Bottom line... looks like the proponents have been courting government officials to increase the K Visa process. Soon I predict it will take a year or more to complete the extra paperwork/ background clearance required under IMBRA.
My only siggestion is that after 60 days has elapsed scream at your congressman.
Its very important that all portions of IMBRA be repealed because these owners of International dating agencies need to know that if it takes 1-2 years to get the K Visa process approved (I predict that is what will happen), IMB's will be out of business anyways because their customers will know its no use trying. The heart of the matter is that the I 129 F form now requires submission of criminal and person information (Basically a background investigation). In the Federal government background Investigations normally take 1-2 years. My friend just got his secret clearance and it took 2 and one half years.
The marriage will dissolve before its will to occur simply because of the extra lengthy time constraints involved.

Exactly! There sould be a background check done on us-- foreign men need to be protected, too! The FBI needs to verify that we all shave our legs and know how to cook. The fact that I own a copy of Andrea Dworkin's 'Intercourse' should be disclosed before he's granted a visa. For his own safety.

Yes, now that IMBRA is here, the U.S. government has started its own state-run marriage broker program. Each man who submits a K1 petition for a foreign fiancee is paired with a woman from the American Feminist Bride Database, and forced to marry her instead. The goal is two-fold: to force American men into peonage under the boot of the Feminarchy, and to control 70% of the lucrative marriage broker industry by 2010.
