Does anybody know that went through Vancouver for their interview if they are ok with you just saying you had chicken pox? I was telling Darcy he should go have a titre test done for the chicken pox just so he has proof. I am the one to always have too much evidence than not enough.

I told him though I would ask the question on here. Will they just take your word for it that you have had chicken pox? I am guessing it probably depends on the person interviewing.

Thanks!

Jen

well, first thing, the question of chicken pox will come up at the medical not the interview... And I am pretty sure they take your word for it but i think they ask you when you had it...

I got the titre test done because I wasn't sure if I had the chicken pox or not and even my mom didn't remember tongue.gif... turns out I did have the chicken pox when I was a kid tongue.gif

Sorry my bad. I was thinking medical but wasn't sure if it came up then or at the interview. I am not sure if he will remember when he had the chicken pox. Maybe, I will just tell him to get the test anyways.

I was just talking with the gal at the doc's office in vangroovy. She just asked me if I had had it and my verbal was enough proof.

I had the titre test done as I couldn't remember...it took about 3 weeks to get the results back. For my children, I just told them at the medical that they had chicken pox and they accepted my word.

Hi! When I called to book my medical in Vancouver I was asked if I ever had chicken pox and how old I was when I had it. I had it when I was about 6 years old. I was told that I only needed proof of MMR and Tetanus.

I had the chicken pox prior to starting kindergarten ...

But I decided to just get the Titre test done and my family doctor didn't have a problem requesting it for me ... And like someone said earlier it took 3 weeks to get the results back ...

it only took me about a week to get my titre tests back

I told the dr that my kid and I had all had them and that was enough.

Thank you everyone that replied. I think I will tell him to get the test. I would rather be safe than sorry. We have the worst luck. tongue.gif
