I don't think DCf in Dominican Republic is a viable option for someone who is not normally resident there.
Meauxna is correct. You would have had to be a resident to file DCF and it's a moot point because they have suspended DCF filing with the huge backlog they have down there. It took me 20 months to get my wife here and I would guess it should be around 2 years now to complete the process whether K1 or CR1 it doesn't matter, it's about the same.
