After submitting the petition to the USCIS and receiving both NOA1 and NOA2, it has been now 60 days (since April 17th, 2006) since they said they submitted our petition to the National Visa Center and sent us the second receipt, and the NVC has no record of our case number. the sheet said within 2 weeks we should hear from the NVC. The NVC says for me to wait 90 days instead, and I said most cases have arrived before 3 weeks...they told me to contact the USCIS, who tells me to wait a full 90 days before they try to do anything. Judging by the replies of most people who have submitted Fiance I-129F form petitions, theirs have been answered within 3 weeks. Not 90 days.

Others have had their lawyer or congressperson contact them and nothing has happened. Admist all of this, we are wondering why this delay is happening to us?? (And others too)...It seems so unfair that others were received and handled a lot faster than others! And we are a legitimate couple with no criminal past, and trying to do things the right way!! Is there any accountability? Has anyone heard from the NVC after more than a 60 day wait? If so, I would like to hear your story...

we also haven't heard back from NVC yet but our case is an I-130, and on june 24th, it will be a month since the NOA2.

I saw posts where people get hold of variety of operators during different times of the day. So, try calling NVC again and ask them, its an NVC issue somewhat since USCIS will tell you that they already forwarded the case.
