i recently submitted for 129F (K3) and missed the new form by just one week. I am going to India on July 14 ffor more than a month. Do you think it will be a good idea to send them a filled up new form to avoid RFE ?

I think that will only cause quite a bit of confusion and it would be better to wait until they send you the RFE.

you just may not get an RFE ... people have sent in outdated forms in the past!

have your backup filed out just in case ... but hold tight and wait & see! good.gif

If you really want to do that, I would write "I-129F DUPLICATE SUBMISSION WITH NEW I-129F FORM" or something to that effect.

Little bit different this time though as there are new requirements due to the IMBRA and the petitions can not be processed without the new information, hence why so many are waiting on RFE's

I wouldnt advise sending in a duplicate petition as the first has already been processed as accepted and could cause even further a delay. One should never submit anything to USCIS that isnt specifically requested to do so via a RFE.

point taken ;-) mmm..lets just hope that I get that RFE before I leave for India !
