I had read b4 about Bar Codes & if u dont have 1 u can run across the street & donload it, u have time...im thinking this refers 2 a bar code that is not on forms that were downloaded from the internet or a bar code that is put on ur ds 156 from by the bank after u pay for ur Visa fee. or it could has something 2 do with paperwork for St Lukes or ???? annyone know what i might b talking about ?...... also on the ds 156 it asks for ur National ID # , does the Philippines have a Nat. ID # & if so is that what its called or is it called something else ?, I know they have a Postial ID. this is a K1 Visa ? Philippines ...Thanks

when you fill in the ds156 form online, the form will automaticly generates a bar code and prints it on the form. The information you filled in this form is encoded in this bar code. This bar code helps the CO's access your file a lot faster

PS.... does the ds156 in the fience visa packet have a bar code on it when she gets it in her packet or the interviewer put it onto her ds156 afterwards ?

follow the instruction on top of this form. ds156 included in p3 has no bar code as well as any other blank ds156 form
