OK, I didn't read the whole long thread, just the first post...

Never, EVER give up! When you give up, THEY win. We CANNOT let them win!!

To the OP:

It can be a lengthy process, so hang on. You may find the K-3 much quicker than the I-130. My good friend spent her one year anniversary without her habibi, but alas there is hope. After almost a year going through only the I-130 process, her husband's interview has been scheduled in Casa for July. Please be patient and best regards. I feel for you.

of course kettle..

Hicham.. just to reconfirm dates ok..

I-130 sent March 10 2006
NOA1 got April 23 2006
I-125f sent May 10 2006
I129f resent June 6 2006

but for the I-129f the cashiers check was not cashed. can you put a tracer on it? possibly lost in mail?
Other than that.. I still think the time is really not too unreasonable.
Take a deep breath.. things will be fine..

Hi to the OP,
I am not sure which service center you are using, but you should realize that with IMBRA all the I129F are being held up. If those dates above are correct then you should just hold out a bit. I understand that it has been a while but things get lost in the mail daily as well as in the USCIS, just give a few more days and see what happens.
Why didn't you wait until the 30 days as per USCIS response to your wife's inquiry.
When you resent the I129F did you send another moneyorder/check? (it does not matter )
I130s seem to be going a little faster seeing they are not directly affected by IMBRA, so just use a little patience. Call the 800 # on the back of your receipts to see if any of teh money orders where cashed and when. You might need to get in touch with USCIS to make them know that you had two submissions of I129Fs.

What ever you do just don't give up, your wife needs you has much as you need her this process is long and tedious and no matter what in the end you will be together........it might be a year or 2 may be more or less but you guys will be together.
good luck on your journey good.gif
