Our interview was this morning! And my petition was approved! Except I still need a few papers. They will do the name checking process and told me to check the website and when it was done our case number would be posted and we could come in, bring the required papers and most likely collect his visa the same day. They said the name check should be done within a week or two.
Does that mean we're, like, free and clear?!
We
do need a police report from Russia. The people who answered the phone told me I didn't need one about five times, but we do need one. Luckily we decided to start the process to make one, so hopefully that'll get finished soon...
And my Father, who is my joint-sponser, gave the wrong form! I didn't even notice! Oops. So, he'll have to do that again, but with the right form and send it by global express.
The thing that they need that I'm afraid will be a problem is the proof of domicile. How do I make a domicile from over here? Any suggestions?

The only thing I could think of that I could do that is on the list is applying for social security cards. I have a number, but lost my card and I need to apply for my daughter as well.
Normally I'd just go to America and do this all, but I have an 8 month old daughter and I can't leave her as I am breastfeeding and I just couldn't!

But flying like 14 hours to New York and then another 3 hours from New York to wherever - that's a huge problem alone.
