In addition to the long overdue attention the delayed I-129F's have gotten, it appears the USCIS is taking a hit in other ways as well..... tongue.gif

It`s good to read stories like this one. I hope the press keeps it up. USCIS deserves all of the negative publicity it can get. Maybe the more stories like this one (and others recently), one day there`ll be enough pressure put on them that they might actually decide to get their act together. (nice to dream anyhow)

I especially found the part about her noticing so many people around when she comes to visit, who can barely speak english, much less even come close to her education and qualifications, already living here in the US. Kind of hits close to home......with my wife having 2 Masters degrees, and is nearly done with her PhD, and you couldn`t imagine all the hurdles we`ve had in trying to get her here.

Guess 7-Eleven and Mıckey D`s hiring takes priority over the others...... tongue_ss.gif

A lot of the immigration process , legal (and illegal mad.gif ).....just does not make a lot of sense.......

On a side note....however......if the process WAS taking so long though......geez.....he COULD have just bitten the bullet and married the woman. 4 years was a looooooong time to wait. Was marrying her THAT distasteful a process that being separated for so long was the better alternative? Have to wonder about that part...........

It's two women...the only state in which they could have married is Massachusetts, and even then the federal government would not recognize their marriage, so she would have been ineligible for a spousal visa.
