Hey all, while in morocco this year I met another american lady and her moroccan fiance. We have kept in touch since and I have good news from her today. Her NOA1 was early december 05 and she got word today, her papers were sent to Casa today!!! Yea... Just good to hear things are moving for some people still... she did have one RFE as well, small delay

good news indeed.... but geez, i hope it's not a 6month period from NOA1 til papers get forwarded to Casa.... that's not good news to me (sent K1 papers April 24)

I know, i was thinking there wait was long too, but evidently, it took her awhile to respond to and figure out the RFE... Any wait in my book is too long, sighs, but that no movement and imbra stuff had me way scared, just happy to know someone somewhere out there in immigration land is working and getting apps approved at all. My NOA1 is 5/1/06 btw, so I am just praying

soul_encounter, our NOA1 dates are so close.... inch'allah we both have speedy, easy journeys! As I wish for all my friends here on VJ.... hell, anyone going thru this process. It'll be interesting to watch each other's cases. Perhaps our guys will meet along the way... Where's your man from, anyhow? Said is in Casablanca.

Ohhhhhhh yea... NOA2 NOA2 ... I can't wait.. lol It is almost embarrasing how exciting waiting on a piece of paper can be. My sweetie is in Khemissett, being not so patient too... at least he has soccer this month to busy his mind with. Ohhhh wow, coooool... Your NOA1 date is really close to ours too, wonder if we could arrange a joint interview timing for them so they have moral support..lol My baby seems to know almost everyone there, of course, khemissett is small as you know, I don't want to announce his full name on an open internet posting but pm me sometime, we'll find out if our guys know each other. I have met 4 other couples in waiting from Khemissett and one guy who did my hair and make-up at our engagement ceremony with a US spouse, who got his visa and left while I was still there, he's here now and just got his work permit, but still a little homesick Having a network of familiar friends when they are here is a plus.
