Full Version: What is the Legal Net Department inside the State Department?

This mystery "Legal Net Department" was contacted by the office of a congressman of a fellow VJ member who's fiance was waiting on Ho Chi Minh City to re-review their case. As you may know, HCMC likes to forget many cases even exist, which is why some couples have been waiting for YEARS.

Anyway, this Legal Net Department was contacted and the case was reviewed and the visa was issued.

But the congressman's will not provide information on what this mystery department in the State Department is or how to contact them.

Can anyone shed some light on this?

Legal Net is as far as I know an e-mail system... legalnet@state.gov We e-mailed them a few times when our Advisory Opinion was pending. You might send an e-mail and see what they say.

Is it still an active email until now? I googled it and all the articles related to it were old. I would like to try it, so thanks for the idea.
