Tough one. I voted for whiners, because I think that myself, I am an enabler!

Enablers are worse...by allowing the whiners to be whiners. Just MHO

My definition of whiner, and I do believe I need one when I label people, is a chronic, constant, complainer who even though he/she has solutions at his/her finger tips choses to complain...a whiner has to complain to several different audiences until the requisite attention or sympathy has been gotten. This creature is not to be confused with the occasional venter or complainer.
Having said that, complainers need to be nipped in the bud or they grow into whiners. Teaching your kids healthy optimism and gratitude in all things is a great gift.
