hey everyone,
has anyone recently gotten scheduled for their montreal interview? and if so, how long was it from the document checklist return to the interview date? we sent back our document checklist almost 2 months ago, and since they said 2-4 months, we're hoping it's closer to 2 than 4...
i've tried looking at the timelines, but i'm not sure how the various parts relate to the DCF process which is (as many of you know) completely different... so i'm hoping some DCF Canada types might have some relevant info...
thanks so much! VJ has been a good encouragement in the process and a helpful source of info.

I have only seen 1 Canadian DCF actually completed, and it took them about 5 months I think from start to interview. Think they started in Nov 2005 and finished in April.
http://www.visajourney.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=12235DCF in canada is very new, so not that many posts. Cheers

I was told the entire process takes 6-8 months from the time the I-130 is approved in early June. I believe Montreal is quite a bit behind WRT CR-1 interviews.

Sorry it's taking a long time, bcmcfish.

Laura428 who did DCF just posted about getting their interview date.

Yep... September 8th, which will be more than four and a half months since Montreal received Packet 3.
