I have heard reports of a guy that works at the consulate that tries to get personal with a lot of the young women applying for visas in Guangzhou. Has anyone else heard of anything like this? In fact several different sources have said that the man ask for their hotel name and phone number, and talked about calling them in the evening. One girl even said that he came to her hotel looking for her. If this is going on I hope that there is a way to put a stop to it.
I have no tolerance for exploitation, and I would be livid if my fiance was approached like that.
in some ways what you are saying this is not acceptable but, in some ways
the embassy does conduct field investigations. Embassy staff has showed up at my husbands parents house. his aunti house, the masjid, the police station, hubby work, the ladys house that did my make up and even knocked door to door. the embassy has done this 2 times randomly. The embassy also will ask dayum personal questions thats their job. they even ask intimate ones < strokes interview > there is really a fine line between what i guess you are implying exploitation and investigating.
